Classic and skate skiers should start at the Haus des Gastes in Wallgau, the biathlete's hometown, and follow the "Witter-Rundkurs" loop trail signs. This is one of the easier cross-country ski loops in the Alpenwelt Karwendel region with an elevation change of around 30 m (98.4 ft.) and a distance of 3 km or 5 km (1.9 or 3.1 mi.). As an alternative, you can start this loop at the Finzbrücke bridge at the southern entrance to the town from Wallgau or at the Barmseestraße road. Snow machines ensure optimum conditions.
