The longest loop trail in the Ammergau Alps
The Graswangrunde is the longest loop trail in the Ammergau Alps. It has a length of 12.5 km (7.8 mi.) and is known for extremely reliable snow conditions. The tracks are groomed for classic and skate skiing and offer fantastic terrain for both. The loop starts and ends at the Ettaler Mühle inn and passes through the towns of Weiler Dickelschwaig and Graswang. Those with good endurance can even ski all the way to Schloss Linderhof, one of King Ludwig's castles!
